Opening Night Celebration—Experience One of Boston’s Cultural Treasures

Museum of Fine Arts
Come and discover one of Boston’s cultural treasures during our Opening Night reception! With the skyline of Boston illuminating in the distance, the MFA is the ideal location for summer festivities. Indulge in delicious foods, refreshing beverages and extraordinary company. Connect with your association peers as you dance to the rousing sounds of live music and mingle under the stars in the museum’s breathtaking Japanese garden and courtyard. The museum is yours to explore during this Opening Night celebration. From the works of Degas and Monet to Picasso and Pollock, the museum offers some of the world’s most brilliant collections of American, European, Egyptian and Asian art, culminating in an unexpected visual experience. During our celebration, the MFA will also be housing its special exhibit, entitled “Americans in Paris,” a collection of vibrant paintings by some of America’s most renowned artists. The exhibit, which will include the works of John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt and Childe Hassam, embodies what our celebration is all about: elegance, sophistication and enthusiasm. Club Energy will be held at one of the most renowned pubs in Boston, Ned Devine's in historic Faneuil Hall. You'll dance the night away with terrific music in a great pub atmosphere. Join Keith Lockhart, the 20th conductor in the history of the Boston Pops Orchestra for out an outstanding evening of entertainment, food and beverage and a chance to relax under the stars! Lockhart, now in his eleventh season as conductor, has conducted more than 600 concerts in Boston’s Symphony Hall and made 56 television shows, including the annual nationally televised Fourth of July Fourth spectacular.


So join us at the Bank of America Pavilion, set off of Boston’s harbor and one of the city’s best places to hear live music. The Pavilion offers breathtaking views of the Boston skyline and waterfront and is the perfect place to wrap-up the Annual Meeting with your association peers.
